For my research topic proposal I chose to complete my research and findings on the effects of El Nino/El Nina on the state of California. El Nino and El Nina are two different climate patterns in the Pacific ocean that affect the weather worldwide. In my final research paper and the steps beforehand I want to describe: ๏ท What El Nino and El Nina patterns are, what causes them, and how the vary year to year. ๏ท What the precipitation and weather outlook are with each

๏ท The effects specifically on the State of California with the changing patterns year after year. ๏ท What months this pattern occurs
๏ท Finally what this pattern will look like in the future in the state (will it stay the same or will there be a change such as more El ninos and less El ninas or the opposite?)
I would also like to have a section where it compares El Niรฑo/el nino effects to another state in the U.S or in another country, and whether these will stay the same.
